Jonathan Lowy Addresses Fitzgerald Attendees
November 15, 2023: Jonathan Lowy, an attorney with considerable success holding gun manufacturers accountable in court and founder of Global Action on Gun Violence, spoke about the importance of gun safety legislation, but also the importance of seeking change in the law through judicial proceedings. He recently filed Jaoquin Oliver v. USA on behalf of the parents of a victim of the Parkland Shooting asking the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights to request the U.S. to implement strong gun policies to prevent mass shootings and other gun violence. The complaint contends the United States favors gun rights over the right to live as guaranteed by the US Constitution. It is The Lawsuit for Survival. Read his speech here.
Mr. Lowry showed a very powerful, concise VIDEO that gets to the heart of the case.
