22nd Annual Buzz Fitzgerald Awards
Thank you to everyone who watched, supported, donated, volunteered, spoke, and cheered along during our 22nd Annual Fitzgerald Awards Program last night. It was a tremendous success, and we cannot thank our supporters enough!
We'll post the full program on our YouTube page in the next few weeks, so watch this space if you missed it last night.
Until then, we'll get back to work keeping Mainers safe from gun violence.

The Maine Gun Safety Coalition is delighted to announce the 22nd Annual Buzz Fitzgerald Awards will be held on Wednesday November 17 at 8pm. Out of an abundance of caution for the health of our supporters, awardees, speakers, and board members, we will once again host the program online.
This year the Buzz Fitzgerald Award winner for leadership in gun safety in Maine is Rep. Vicki Doudera, who chaired the state legislature's first ever Gun Safety Caucus, and led the effort to pass two gun safety laws.
Sagadahoc County Sheriff Joel Merry is the Ed Googins Award winner for his leadership in a law enforcement role for his outspoken commitment to gun safety following two child-related shootings in West Bath this year.
And finally we are lucky to have longtime Portland Press Herald columnist Bill Nemitz as our keynote speaker.
Tickets and sponsorship opportunities and more information is available www.fitzgeraldawards.com.
We will once again provide a take-home dinner and wine to all sponsors and ticket-buyers so you can enjoy a delicious meal while watching the program.
